Founded by Hong Kong local street artist Dom in 2000, Start From Zero started as a street art group and over a period of decade transformed into a woodwork brand.

In 2010, he began delving into woodwork creation and incorporate with unique street art style into wooden products and artpieces. 

"START" combines the meaning of STreet Art, STencil ART and STicker ART, which represent the brand's artistic practice and origin.

Morever, there are multiple meanings of "Start From Zero": 

Dom started street art from scratch. He wants to encourage more people to do street art when discover his artwork.

It is not only a slogan to cheer people up when they’re depressed, we also want encourage people to do what they love from "zero".

We found Rat's Cave in 2011, which is a concept store that organize flea markets, exhibition and event venues.

In 2015, we opened S.F.Z Untechnic Department and held workshops in our studio.

In 2019, we established a branch in New Taipei City.

While promoting the woodworking culture, we also concern enviromentally friendly and sustainability. We collect, upcycle and turn recycled wood into a new item.

Dom’s innovative spirit has earned him international acclaim and exhibit our work in Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, Denmark etc.
